Scottish Fire & Rescue
This £350,000 project, delivered over an 8-week period, focused on critical fuel infrastructure and drainage upgrades to support operational efficiency and environmental compliance. The works began with the installation of a new drainage system, designed to handle increased surface water capacity and prevent site flooding. ACO drainage channels were installed to facilitate efficient surface water management, particularly in high-traffic and fuel-sensitive zones. Key to the project was the installation of new interceptors, ensuring that any contaminants, such as hydrocarbons, were safely captured before entering the drainage system. We also constructed new fuel delivery areas and tank pads, built to robust industry standards to support the safe handling and storage of fuels. Associated fuel infrastructure works included pipework, containment systems, and safety features to ensure long-term reliability and compliance with current regulations. The project was completed on time and to specification, significantly enhancing the site’s environmental resilience and operational capabilities.
